[OOC] Random Facts Meme

Organizing my headcanon.

• As far as Loser is concerned, Screw alternates helpless affection and EXTREME. LEVELS. OF FRUSTRATION. He knows for a fact that he understands Loser better than anyone else, both due to their shared experiences and accidentally accessing his memories. So while he's perfectly aware that Loser is not a nice man, he's also aware that he was a nice kid, and is possibly the only person who hates GERA more than Screw. Thus, Screw has NO IDEA why Loser keeps working for GERA and would like to punch him in the teeth for it. But afterwards he'd apologize and offer to take Loser home with him.

• He's considered removing the GERA ID tattoo on his arm. However, there's the little problem of actual tattoo removal services being both expensive and likely to turn him in, so he's decided that if he ever wants it off, he'll have to do it himself. In the past he's gotten as far as actually taking a knife to the skin, but common sense always gets the better of him before he can make a cut.

• Sometimes he wakes up with Snow White's real name on his lips. He's so close to remembering it in those moments that he can almost taste it, but it always disappears before he can get a real hold on it.

• The above never happens for his own name.

• Despite the fact that Screw can't remember anything of his own past, he still has memories of things unrelated to himself. He could, for example, tell you Batman's secret identity, when Columbus sailed to America, and the quadratic equation. Ask him his brother's name, though, and it's a complete blank.

• If he tries to ignore his psychic powers for too long, he gets these awful migraines. As a result, he has the habit of either using them in small ways throughout the day or in larger ones at home. Possibly to beat up Batsu when he's made a mess of the apartment again.

• He fell in love with Snow White before he ever talked her. The window to her room overlooked the park where he used to go to sit and smoke, and he'd watch her on her balcony. She'd watch back, and sometimes their eyes would catch. They were both out there a lot, him because he didn't have anything better to do, and her because it seemed like the balcony was an escape from her parents' arguments. They never actually "met" until the kidnapping, and even then they only had a brief time together before they were killed. But he knows she loved him too, because she showed him with her mind.

• GERA has done a spectacular job of wiping out all traces of his existence even from their own computer files. Screw knows they still have something on him, but he hasn't been able to find it yet. He's determined to locate even the smallest clue, like the location where he died or his birthday. Even if it means he's going to have to infiltrate GERA proper instead of hacking their systems from afar.

• For all he bitches about Batsu, the fact that he's family counts for a whole lot. Batsu's loud, annoying, and more than a little crazy, but he's blood, and besides that, the two of them understand each other on a level deeper than Screw'd like to admit.

• There was that time when Batsu exploded the toaster and Screw deprived him of movement and speaking privileges for the next three hours, though.

• There's a scar on his left knee. He knows this because one of the first things he did when he escaped from GERA was to finally get a good look at his body in a mirror and re-learn the nuances of it. Where the scar came from, he has no idea, but in his mind he's decided that he probably fell out of a tree when he was little.

• No matter how many comments he gets about his name, he's never going to change it. Probably not even if he somehow learns what it used to be. Screw is just who he is, now.

[OOC] Permissions/Stats Meme

Name: Screw
Age: 15
Height: Average; maybe a bit on the short side, but he wears huge boots.
Weight: Skinny.
Eyes: Golden brown.
Hair: Bone white and long enough to nearly reach his knees. He wears it in a ponytail.

Medical Info: All files are GERA company property and unable to be accessed.

Physical Traits: Screw is an average lanky teenage boy. His only really striking feature is his hair, which is completely white. On his left bicep is a tattoo of the GERA company logo and the number 205, but he keeps that covered. His left ear is pierced.

What's Okay To Mention Around Him: Anything, I'd say. He takes things in stride, and when he doesn't, he bounces back fast.

Abilities: Let's just list what we see him do in canon:
•levitate objects
•teleport objects and energy blasts
•destroy objects (like heads)
•create energy blasts that affect astral projections as well as physical forms
•create nearly impenetrable barriers
•communicate telepathically with other psychics
•hear people's thoughts (at least when they're in the grips of a strong emotion)

Notes for the Psychics: SCREW WILL KNOW IF YOU ARE POKING AROUND IN HIS HEAD, so if you intend to do this, talk to me. It's worth noting that he has less than a full year's worth of memories, since GERA erased them all when he woke up. All of his memories of his life before he was frozen come from what little Snow White was able to convey to him. Basically, he knows he was a street punk who died in 1992 when he tried to save the girl that the rest of his gang had kidnapped. He knows he had a little brother only because someone else told him this. He doesn't know what his original name was.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Sure!

Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: Go for it!

Maim/Murder/Death: I'm usually fine with minor to moderate injuries, but anything past that I'm iffy on. Talk to me!

Cooking: He's a studied gourmet of instant ramen and frozen pizzas.

[OOC] App post

Name: Screw
Series: Neji/Screw
Age: 15

Canon: Welcome to the year 2034. Artificial human sex toys, designer drugs funded by private companies, and cryogenic freezing are all a reality. An interesting side effect of the cryogenic sleep is that a number of those who have undergone the process wake up with psychic powers. The mysterious company GERA has in its possession a number of these "revenants." By erasing their memories and training them to use their newfound powers, GERA has developed an unstoppable team of assassins. At least, that's their intent. But sometimes there's a glitch in the process. Like Screw.

Screw is a teenage boy who was frozen in the early 90's. When he woke up in GERA's labs, it was with the concept of just being a single screw in the machine of life echoing through his head. Taking "Screw" as his name instead of GERA's assigned number, he eventually ends up regaining enough of the memory of his death to realize that everything they've told him is a lie. He proceeds to bust out of the facilities and attempt to make his own life on the streets. Despite being a psychic on the run in a world forty years in his future, Screw is actually a fairly down-to-earth guy--his experiences have forced him to be responsible and adult beyond his physical age of 15, and he's pretty skilled at using his powers to his benefit. However, covers this inner maturity with loudmouthed and sarcastic wisecracks, foul language, and a tendency to hit people when they piss him off. Oh, and he's not above exploding a few heads with his mind.

Sample Post:

In your own head, no one can hear you scream.

Or at least that's probably the assumption you operate under. No one can hear your innermost thoughts of "Oh my god, Becky, look at her butt." I hate to break it to you, but not only is her ass not actually that big, I can hear you. So turn that mental image filter back on, crank the volume down, and stop projecting so goddamn much. I've got enough problems just dealing with the freaking toucans without worrying about the fact that you've got your mental filesharing button switched to "on." Who the hell gives birds psychic powers and the ability to influence people's minds before turning 'em loose on an unsuspecting public?

Okay, I mean, aside from Kellogg's.

I'll be the first to admit that this usually isn't my kind of thing. But apparently you all need a little help with that "not being taken advantage of by Toucan Sam's less savory cousins" thing. A hint: when these guys tell you to follow their noses, think for a minute where their noses actually point to. Down, right? That "treasure" sure as hell isn't fruit-flavored. Unless you put a condom on it first.

I'll give you all a minute to process that.

So now that we're all on the same page, let's talk prevention. No one wants the birds part of "the birds and the bees" to become literal, right? So here's what you can do. It's a lot like that meditation and visualization crap those self-help books love. Except we're not gonna visualize descending a flight of stairs or anything. Partly because I'm pretty sure you all would trip down your mental staircase and break your mental ankle like some sort of self-realized damsel in distress. So we're not imagining that. No, we're picturing toucan brains. Exploding. This is your brain, and this is your brain once it's been Screwed.

... shut up, that was totally funny. Badass at the very least. You just don't have any taste, that's all. Fuckers.

--no, shit, I didn't mean that literally! Put that brain down! Oh, gross!

---

App went here with 96.6%, for some UNKNOWN REASON.
